The second “Peace Marathon” will take place on the 17th of May, 2008. It is organized by the Kup-Karmel Christian Association. The Marathon begins at 9 am and goes from Grude through Ljubuški to Medjugorje (42,195 meters). Ordinary citizens are free to participate in the Ljubuški to Medjugorje stretch of the course, which begins at the same time.For both races, you may register through the web site of the Association http://www.kup-karmel.com/.
We wish to the organizers and the participants of the marathon the abundance of God’s blessing, and we put the whole event under the intercession of Our Lady – the Queen of Peace.
